Crisis Mobile Outreach (CMO) is available to all residents of Maui County. Adults who may be a danger to themselves or others, are experiencing an acute mental health problem, or feel they are in need for any reason, may call the Access Line. This is a toll-free number, at 1-800-753-6879, where the Department of Health's dispatch center will determine if an outreach call is needed.

Our team of highly experienced professionals responds to all calls within 45 minutes. Our CMO worker sensitively works with the person in crisis to provide support, information, and assist the individual to any needed services, such as the Aloha House Inc. Licensed Crisis Residential Service, or the Maui Memorial Medical Center for evaluation. Our workers can also assist those in crisis to access case management services, which can further help to de-escalate the crisis.

Our Crisis workers collaborate with other emergency service responders including the Police and Fire Departments to assist them in their duties, and to provide training and education regarding the best ways to help our residents in need.
